The Beat Station is a versatile rhythm machine designed for practicing a wide range of instruments. It eliminates the need for live drums and a drummer, making it ideal for both production and live performances. With its various modes of operation, you can easily control different sections of your music, including verse, chorus, transition, fill, intro, and outro.
The Beat Station offers the innovative feature of a Bluetooth MIDI Pedalboard, allowing you to control all sections hands-free. This frees you up to focus on your instrument and gives you the experience of playing alongside a skilled and versatile drummer.
One of the standout features of the Beat Station is its Loop Mode. With this mode, you can effortlessly play rhythm patterns using loop pads. Each rhythm style comes with 12 carefully crafted patterns, including intro, verse, chorus, six fills, two transitions, and outro. You have the flexibility to switch between these patterns in real-time during your performance to suit your musical needs.
For those who prefer footswitches, the Pedal Mode is perfect. By utilizing a Bluetooth MIDI pedalboard, you can control rhythm patterns with four footswitches without needing to take your hands off your instrument.
The Beat Station also includes a Song Mode that allows you to connect rhythm patterns in order to create a complete drum track tailored specifically to your own composition. Once connected, you can play the drum track automatically.
In terms of content, the Beat Station offers an impressive collection. It comes with six ultra-realistic drum sets and boasts over 1700 drum loops with 136 rhythm styles spanning 15 different genres. Whether you're looking for rock, pop, jazz, or any other genre, the Beat Station has you covered.
Furthermore, the Beat Station provides a range of additional features to enhance your experience. These include Inter-App Audio support, audio background mode, the ability to export your songs as audio files, full MIDI implementation, MIDI controller support, MIDI learn functionality, and the option to send MIDI to DAW or other apps. It also seamlessly integrates with Ableton Link and ensures your projects are always up to date across all your devices using iCloud integration.
The Beat Station Pro Subscription offers even greater value for those who want access to all genres of rhythm from the extensive collection of over 1700 drum loops. Subscribers also enjoy unlimited projects, the ability to export audio, and MIDI output capabilities. The subscription costs $2.99 per month or $22.99 per year.
